Holiday Happiness at the House!

Please join us for a week of Holiday Happiness at the Moorestown Community House!

Children’s Holiday Shop

On December 1&2, we will host our inaugural Children’s Holiday Shop. It’s the perfect place for children to discover the joy of giving! This event is open to the community. Volunteer staff will assist children in shopping for friends and family. Cash Only. This event will take place in our new (but historic) space, which was the site of the original Moorestown Library. Come see this hidden gem!

5th Annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Celebration

Our 5th Annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Celebration will take place on December 4. Join us as the holiday season officially begins in Moorestown! Community House staff and trustees, along with Fox 29 and Moorestown’s own Kathy Orr, invite everyone to gather on our front lawn, as we continue this memorable tradition celebrating the most wonderful time of the year.

Come enjoy musical entertainment from the Philly Pops and the Moorestown Madrigals, hot chocolate from Brandywine Senior Living, cookies and water from Wegmans and candy canes compliments of the of the Staff and Board of Trustees. And you never know when Santa himself will arrive…

Before you head out to join the festivities, please remember donations for our friends at MooreKids and Live Civilly. MooreKids is collecting shelf-stable breakfast foods, such as granola bars and cracker packs and Live Civilly will be collecting warm winter coats and Toys for Tots.

Cooks Tour of Moorestown

On December 6, we will be featured on the Cooks Tour of Moorestown! Come see our beloved House decked out for the Holidays. Our newly-renovated Club Room, Bridal Suite, Board Room, and historic Library space will all be featured. If you haven’t visited the Community House in a while, you might be surprised. We’ve never looked better!
